Jesus died on the cross so we could live 1) Freely, 2) Faithfully, 3) Factually. I hope that each will understand that Jesus died so that we can have life both now and in eternity in a free, faithful, and factual way. I hope to encourage the listener to be free in Christ, faithful to Christ and factual with Christ.

It is of the upmost importance that we support our own gospel meeting. If we don’t support it, then who will?
In this lesson, we will look at some of Paul’s methods of evangelism. Each listener should be able to learn from Paul’s example of evangelism. I hope that we will follow Paul’s example and be more evangelistic.
Let’s remember that we are to love Him with all of our heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37). Let’s remember to bring up our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Let’s remember to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, and then everything that we need will be provided to us by Him (Matthew 6:33).
In this lesson, we will look at four statements Jesus makes about Himself and what they say about Jesus and His ministry. As those who are seeking to imitate Jesus, we should adopt these attitudes in our lives.
In Revelation 10-11 we see preparations made for the coming of the King and His kingdom. These preparations include 1) The Completion of the Mystery of God, 2) The Committing of God’s Message to the Prophets/Apostles, 3) The Coming of the Two Witnesses, 4) The Coronation of the Messiah. The hearer should be able to explain that the events of Revelation 10-11 are preparatory for the coronation of the Messiah. I hope that the listener will have a better understanding of Revelation 10-11.

How do missionaries work? The word “missionary” means “a person sent by a church into an area to carry on evangelism or other activities, as educational or hospital work” (dictionary.com). The word stems from a Latin word meaning “one who is sent.” In the New Testament, we can identify several missionaries. Philip seems to be the first of these.

We should love the law of God because: 1) It Gives Us Understanding, 2) It Makes us Upright, 3) It is Uplifting. Each listener should understand what spiritual benefits come from loving the law of God as set forth in Psalm 119:97-104. I hope that each would renew their love for God’s law.
In this lesson we will answer the question, “What is Evangelism” in a fourfold way. Evangelism is 1) Prayer, 2) Opportunities, 3) Work, 4) Teaching. I want each hearer to understand what all is involved in evangelism. The aim of this sermon is to educate and encourage each Christian to be evangelistic.
What will be the fate of the rest? “But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” (Ezekiel 11:21-22).
Do we hold back from teaching the gospel to those who don’t look, smell, act, or live like us because they are “dirty”? God didn’t accept Peter’s reticence, and He won’t accept ours either because He wants everyone to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
The point is this: the assumption of restoration does not necessarily imply non existence of that which needs to be restored as the question seems to imply. We recognize that restoration means that that which needs to be restored has deteriorated badly. In what sense? In the sense that not very much of the original is left. But that means that SOME of the original is still there. How can it be restored? By following the pattern for the original. In the case of the church, where do we find that pattern? In the New Testament.
When the reformers, who eventually ended up creating the Protestant movement, withdrew from the Catholic church, they also renounced Catholic tradition as a source of authority for religious practices. In its place, they demanded that things be settled "sola scriptura" with scripture only.
As we were running, I matched his pace, talked to him about the run, and encouraged him to keep going; we had great conversation and fellowship. As we were running, walking, talking, and enjoying our time together, I realized that our run illustrated the concept of the Greek word parakletos.
