The Church at the Cross – A Gospel Meeting Event!

We have a gospel meeting coming up in just two weeks! This is an opportunity for us to invite our family, friends, and neighbors to hear the Bible’s message about Christ and His Church. The theme for our meeting is The Church at The Cross. Brother Marvin Weir will be presenting lessons that relate what we have been discussing all year about the Cross of Christ to the Bible doctrine of the church. I am sure that he is going to help us understand more about the church of Christ, and what it means to be a member of the church of Christ.
The world does not know what the Bible teaches about the church. In large part, the world assumes that one church is just as good as another. Is that true? Does it matter where you go to church? Will any old church do? How many churches are in the Bible? Is there a church for which Jesus died? What does it mean to be a member of THAT church? Shouldn’t we want to be a member of the church for which Jesus died? How do we know we can be a member of the church for which Jesus died? Does the Bible have something to say about the church that Jesus built? Should we listen to what the Bible says about the church that Jesus built? Do we even want to know about the church that Jesus built?
These questions and many more will be discussed in this gospel meeting. Let’s be sure to get our fliers and handouts to those around us in the community who need to know more about the church of the New Testament, and that just about everyone we meet!
God bless you, and I love you.
