Sermons on Psalm 119 – The Wonderful Word of God
Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm in the book of Psalms. It is also the longest contiguous section of scripture enumerated by verses. There are 176 verses in the Psalm. This Psalm praises the wonderful word of God by using every letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Each section of this Psalm uses a different Hebrew letter to begin each line. In the first section, Aleph, each line begins with that letter. In the second section, Bet, each line begins with that letter, and so on until you get to the end of the alphabet. Various lessons in each Psalm teach us that God’s word is able to address all situation in life if we will trust in Him. I hope that you enjoy this series of studies in Psalm 119.
