Our Gospel Meetings
We have had many gospel meetings over the years, and this page gathers all of our gospel meetings in one place. Each of these pages has recordings of these meetings. You may listen to and watch these messages over the years. Here is a list of all of them since 2015. We did not have any gospel meetings in the year 2020 due to COVID. Gospel meetings prior to 2015 are not available at this time. Video was not added until the year 2016.
What Our Gospel Meetings Are About
A gospel meeting is a series of lessons, often with a guest preacher, where the church studies the Bible together and invites the community to hear the good news of Jesus. Our gospel meetings have covered subjects such as grace, the kingdom of God, the cross, truth, and evangelism.
Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). That is why we keep holding these meetings: the gospel still changes lives.
Each page below has recordings you can listen to or watch. Some favorites include The Triumph of Truth with Mike Bonner (2021 Fall) and The Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ with Kris Groda (2017 Spring). For lessons from other men who have filled our pulpit, visit our Guest Preachers and Speakers page.
Using these recordings: Listen in order to follow the flow of the meeting, or pick the lesson that speaks to a need in your life right now. Keep your Bible open and look up each passage. These lessons also make good material for a home Bible study or a class, and they are an easy way to share the gospel with a friend who cannot come in person.
We invite you to visit us at 610 N. McCoy Blvd in New Boston, Texas. Our times are Sunday Bible class at 9:30 AM, worship at 10:25 AM, Sunday evening at 5:00 PM, and Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 PM.
