2016 Spring Gospel Meeting – The Kingdom of God with Cody Westbrook
From March 20 through March 23 the New Boston Church of Christ held a gospel meeting with brother Cody Westbrook on The Kingdom of God. This meeting was designed to familiarize the listening with the importance of God’s Kingdom, the Church, and to discuss important topics related to God’s Kingdom. These topics are listed below. The meeting was well attended each day. We would like to thank everyone who came out to this meeting and made it the great success that it was. Recordings of the meeting have been made available on CDs. You may also listen to recordings here on this web site by clicking on the links below.
Why the Kingdom of God Gospel Meeting Matters
Our Kingdom of God gospel meeting with brother Cody Westbrook looked at the importance of God’s kingdom, the church. Jesus came preaching the kingdom, and He promised to build His church (Matthew 16:18). Today that kingdom is here, and every Christian is a citizen of it.
Paul wrote that God “has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love” (Colossians 1:13).
Gospel meetings are a special time for the New Boston Church of Christ to study God’s word together and to invite our community to hear the gospel. Every lesson below is available to listen to or watch, so you can study at your own pace, share them with a friend, or use them in your own Bible class. For more lessons, see The King and His Kingdom and Our Gospel Meetings.
We invite you to visit us at 610 N. McCoy Blvd in New Boston, Texas. Our times are Sunday Bible class at 9:30 AM, worship at 10:25 AM, Sunday evening at 5:00 PM, and Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 PM.
