Our Gospel Meeting Begins Next Week!
We have brother Marvin Weir who will be joining us to discuss The Church at the Cross of Christ! What have we done to ensure that this gospel meeting is a success? Have we invited our friends and family to attend? Have we handed out some fliers to our business associates? Have we talked to people in our community about our gospel meeting? You are in the perfect position to invite people you know to our gospel meeting precisely because YOU know them! People are much more likely to come to an event of the church if they are invited by someone they know. You are key in this regard because your friends, neighbors, and relatives know you! We have some wonderful brochures of our gospel meeting event with some great information in it. These brochures will give those you invite an idea of what to expect at this gospel meeting. Please take some and hand them out to those you know.
Also, be sure to make plans to attend the gospel meeting yourself! It is of the upmost importance that we support our own gospel meeting. If we don’t support it, then who will? Remember, you are the church! It is you that you are inviting others to see. It is with you that you are inviting others to come and study God’s word. It is for you that you are inviting others to engage. You are the recipients of the benefits of this meeting effort! How much do you value yourself? How much does God value you? How much did Jesus Christ value you? Do you value yourself enough to give yourself away to your friends by inviting them to be with you at our gospel meeting? I hope you do.
