How Did God Make Miracles?
A miracle is an obvious work of God that is outside the normal laws of nature. God is able to do miracles because He is powerful. One of God’s names in the Bible is El Shaddai which means God Almighty.

Jesus died on the cross to leave an example of 1) service, 2) sacrifice, and 3) love. Each hearer can explain how Jesus’ death on the cross left us an example.
Unfortunately, some adults behave the same way that children do. When the church is trying to do a good work, and something happens that they don’t like, instead of constructively seeking to make things better, they take their proverbial ball and go home.
This lesson will discuss the three reasons the Hebrew writer gives for running the Christian race in Hebrews 12:1-11. This lesson is designed to encourage to brethren to run the race with patience.
Why do we do this? Because this is the mind of Christ. He was the only one who practiced perfect humility. Lifting Him up means bringing us low.
[Marvin Weir] will be speaking on the following topics: “The Cross, The Church – God’s Eternal Purpose” (Eph. 3:10-11); “Worship And Observance Made Possible By The Cross” (John 4:24); “New Covenant A Reality Because Of The Cross” (Eph. 2:131-18); “One Cross – One Church” (Matt. 16:13-18); “Keys Of The Kingdom And Salvation Possible Only By The Cross” (Matt. 16:19); “Attend The Church Of Your Choice Denied By The Cross” (Eph. 1:22-23; 4:4).

Jesus died on the cross to redeem mankind 1) with a cost, 2) from condemnation, 3) to communion, and 4) for consecration. Each hearer should understand the deeper meaning of redemption as relates to Christ’s sacrifice.
Jesus died on the cross because God loved the world enough to sacrifice His own Son for the world’s salvation. Each listener should be able to explain how God’s love motivated Him to sacrifice His Son, Jesus. Jesus died on the cross because 1) God is a God of Love, 2) The World Needed True Love, 3) The Son Demonstrated that Love. I hope that the listener would understand God’s motives in sending His Son to die on the cross.
Jesus died on the cross so that we could be forgiven of sin. Forgiveness means that 1) Every person has an opportunity to be forgiven. 2) God no longer holds our sins against us, 3) We have a standard upon which to forgive one another. Each listener should know what he needs to do to obtain forgiveness, where that puts him in a relationship to God, and to his fellow.
In this study, we will look at different kinds of risks that Christians must take to be Christians. There is the risk of 1) Leaving the ones we love, 2) financial loss, 3) our life and health, 4) public rejection and failure. Each Christian should know what kind of risks he or she faces each day in living the Christian life and be prepared to handle those risks understanding that while there may be "risks" while we are upon the earth, the outcome is guaranteed. I want to spur the brethren on toward taking more risks in these areas because the greater risk one takes the greater reward that is associated with the risk.
In this lesson, we will look at what Jesus did not do that most people would have done given the same circumstances. The listener should understand that Jesus was extraordinary in His behavior. We will conclude that Jesus was divine.
Jesus died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for sin because 1) Justice Demands Payment 2) Old Testament Sacrifices were Insufficient, 3) A Perfect Sacrifice Was Needed. This lesson explains why we need a perfect sacrifice and why Jesus was the perfect sacrifice.
In this lesson, we will study why Jesus died on the cross. To understand that Jesus brings unity to mankind in the church, we must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand that Jesus died on the cross to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand that Jesus died on the cross to bring unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.
Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:15, “and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” You can’t do that just on Easter Sunday.
