In this lesson we want to look at the process of rescuing the lost as illustrated by the Elizabeth Smart case. Everyone should understand this process and the principles involved in this process to aid in the seeking and finding the spiritually lost to motivate us as Christians to seek and save the lost.
In this lesson we will discuss 1) the purpose of the family in having children, 2) the mission of the church in relationship to children, and 3) the need for the church to be involved in the lives of children. This lesson encourages the church to support and be involved in our children’s activities with a view toward growth, and it discusses the relationship of the church to children in an encouraging way.
In this lesson, we will look at four statements Jesus makes about Himself and what they say about Jesus and His ministry. As those who are seeking to imitate Jesus, we should adopt these attitudes in our lives.
On New Year’s Eve I will 1) Forget the things that are behind, 2) Reach forward to the things that are ahead, and 3) Press toward the goal. Each listener should be resolved to leave things in the past that need to stay in the past, remember what is important for the future, and seek to finish their race.
In this lesson we will see that to engage in evangelism is 1) Loving God, 2) Loving Your Neighbor, and 3) Loving Yourself as God Loves You. Each person should understand that to love our friends and family as God wants us to love them, we must engage in personal evangelism.
