Focusing on Jesus and who He is helps us to be content because He is all we really need; He is the standard for who we were created to be and what we truly are.
All about Jesus (Colossians 1:15-20): He is 1) Creator, 2) Our Purpose, 3) Sustainer, 4) Head of the Church, 5) God's Fullness, 6) Reconciler. Center your life on Him.
Let’s follow Jesus and not the opinions of men.
Without grace, I would be hopelessly trapped in a mindset of constantly demanding retribution for failure.

Let’s not be like the one-talent man who went and buried his talent in the ground.
While there are some things that we want to do that we haven’t been doing, we need to continue to do some good things that we have been doing too!
In this lesson we will study that mercy and salvation comes from God’s word because God’s word gives us 1) Answers, 2) Liberty, 3) Confidence. The hearer should understand that when we walk in God’s word we gain mercy and salvation.
Jesus gave the seventy-two power over demons for their mission (Luke 10), but told them to rejoice that their names are written in heaven. That is our emphasis too.
