We will discuss the ark of the covenant, its 1) Form, 2) Function, and 3) Fame. The hearer should understand what the ark was, what it was used for, and how it has significance today. I hope that everyone will appreciate God’s desire to be with His people in holiness.
God knows you by name; will you get to know Him?
As we read through Genesis chapter one, it is clear that God intended His creation to act according to His purposes. In other words, it is not humanity that defines purposes, but God.

After studying the issue, I am personally inclined to understand the number as one male and one female of the unclean and then four males and three females of the clean as well as the fowls. Economy of space within the ark would also support this conclusion.
Paul does not say there was no law in the day of Abraham or even before that. That is not his point at all. He merely says that where there is no law then there is no transgression. What then is the point? His point is that when God gave the promise to Abraham, that promise was given without law. Hence that promise was made to Abraham upon the condition of faith, not upon the condition of law.

The aim of this lesson is that each soberly contemplates their need for forgiveness from God in relation to another's need for forgiveness from them.
