The Power of Humility
Instead of reacting, be proactive by putting your own concerns on the back burner for a few minutes and listening actively to the other party. Listening is the humble thing to do (James 1:19).
Being self-satisfied opens us to sins of 1) Pride, 2) Greed, 3) Laziness. Each hearer would resolve to test themselves to ensure they are in the faith.
In this lesson, we will examine David’s practice of grace to Saul’s house. David understood that: 1) Grace was a Desire, 2) Grace was Proactive, 3) Grace Restores, 4) Grace Gives. Each person should learn what it means to be gracious to others and resolve to practice more grace in our lives.
