The doctrine of inspiration (2 Timothy 3:14-17): 1) Its Evidence, 2) Its Nature, 3) Its Function, 4) Its Scope. Each person should understand it and respect God's word.
We can be happy when persecuted (Matthew 5:1-12) because of 1) Our Relationship with God, 2) The Reality of Truth, 3) Recompense, 4) Reward. Each person should expect it.
Daniel 1 shows God's purposes: 1) Divine Change, 2) Divine Constancy, 3) Divine Counsel. Each person should know God's purposes prevail even in hard circumstances.
To restore someone in meekness (Galatians 6:1), we must be spiritual in our 1) Wishes, 2) Words, 3) Walk. Each person who is faithful should help the unfaithful return.
While there are some things that we want to do that we haven’t been doing, we need to continue to do some good things that we have been doing too!
Are there degrees of punishment in hell? Yes, some will suffer more than others (Luke 12:47, 48), but even the least suffering in hell would be unthinkable.
We meet once on Sunday because the Lord requires it (Acts 20:7). We meet twice because we are able and our elders want us to be edified further (Hebrews 10:25).
To be virtuous like Jesus (2 Peter 1:5-9) we must 1) Know God's Word, 2) Show Mercy to the Needy, 3) Practice Self-Sacrifice. Each person should practice virtue.
The soul is God's greatest treasure (Mark 8:36, 37): 1) It Is Constant, 2) It Is a Unique Creation, 3) It Cost God's Son. Each person should value the soul above all.
The Christian is enrobed in thankfulness (Colossians 3:15) by 1) Engaging in Prayer, 2) Elevating the Mind, 3) Showing Kindness. Each person should examine his thanks.
Mark 9:40 and Matthew 12:30 do not conflict. One man was not physically with Jesus yet worked for Him; the Pharisees were with Him but spiritually against Him.
Are saints who die in paradise or asleep? Jesus promised the thief paradise (Luke 23:43). The dead in Christ are "asleep" only until the resurrection.
Faith, the first Christian grace (2 Peter 1:5-9), shows us 1) Who People Really Are, 2) Their Greatest Need, 3) How to Love Them. Each person should live graciously.
