Blessed Are the Persecuted
We can be happy when persecuted (Matthew 5:1-12) because of 1) Our Relationship with God, 2) The Reality of Truth, 3) Recompense, 4) Reward. Each person should expect it.

While there are some things that we want to do that we haven’t been doing, we need to continue to do some good things that we have been doing too!
In eternity we get a new body (1 Peter 4:13) with no more 1) Death, 2) Disease, 3) Corruption, 4) Temporal Concerns. Each person can rejoice in this hope of heaven.
Heaven will have no more evil (1 Peter 4:13): 1) No Temptation, 2) No Sin, 3) No Evil People. Each person should be able to state a reason to rejoice in eternity.
The word of God cleanses our 1) Path, 2) Praise, 3) Purpose (Psalm 119:9-16). Each person should become more familiar with Psalm 119 and its lessons.
Why pursue joy over happiness (Philippians 4:4)? Happiness is 1) Momentary, 2) Amusing, 3) Self-Made, 4) Carnal, but joy is constant and spiritual. Each person needs joy.
"Rejoice in the Lord always" (Philippians 4:4). The Christian has joy in his 1) Past, 2) Present, 3) Future. Each person should be able to state why he can rejoice.
An opportunity is a time to seek success, and our gospel meeting is one. Pray, invite, keep a positive attitude, and remember we do this to love God and others.
