Gospel Meeting Next Week!
Next Sunday, brother Phil Sanders will be here to preach on the topic, “Jesus, Our Hope!” This is a wonderful theme that will bring us great spiritual edification and nourishment. Brother Sanders is well qualified to preach on this topic. He has earned several degrees in Biblical Studies and has written several books. He has been preaching since the early 1970s. Being a nationally known television personality places him in a unique position to understand the spiritual needs of our culture. Most importantly, he is a faithful Christian who desires to exalt Jesus Christ in his life. It’s going to be good!
If you are interested in seeing some of his work, you can tune in to the program, “In Search of the Lord’s Way.” It airs Sundays at 6:00 AM on WGN America on various cable and satellite venues. You can also see it locally on KSLA Sunday mornings at 7:30. If you have internet access you can also view it online at http://searchtv.org and on YouTube. I try to watch each week’s episode, and watch some “back” episodes as well. These messages are very encouraging and helpful.
We have one more week to invite people to hear brother Sanders speak. Let’s make a concerted effort to contact our friends and family and invite them to be here next week. Let’s also contact our neighbors and invite them to come. Let’s do our part to be here for every service. We will have visitors! We need to be here to greet them and let them know that they are special to us. We do not know what God has planned for this event, but we need to be ready to open the doors of opportunity.
