Your Labor is Not in Vain In the Lord

Tuesday, January 17th, Robin Dunaway came to see me and brought some little books with him. I was excited to see that these had been completed. The project of making these books began in January of 2014. I wrote them in 2015 and finished them in 2016, and now they are finally printed in 2017, three years later! They are designed to be Bible class studies for teens, but may be used for more than just that. Each one has 13 studies, making them suitable for quarterly teaching. They are on a variety of topics: Evangelism, Bible Characters, Human Suffering, and Walking with Jesus.
It is nice to see our labors come to fruition. Whether we are writing Bible class material, coaching football, teaching elementary school, or working for the government, we like to see our goals and objectives achieved, and it is satisfying to see them achieved. One of God’s great promises to us as Christians is that our labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). Because of this, we can be encouraged to keep up the good work and continue to fight the good fight of faith every day. God is able to use our efforts to serve Him to His honor and glory and for the furthering of His kingdom. The only thing that we must do is try, and the only failure is not trying at all. Let’s not be like the one-talent man who went and buried his talent in the ground. Instead, let’s take what God has given us and use it every day. Doing this will truly honor God and His Son, Jesus Christ, in our lives.
God bless you, and I love you. Kevin Cauley
