OBJECTIVE: Each Christians should resolve to eliminate sin from their lives so that they do not grieve the Holy Spirit.

1) God has gone to great lengths to remove sin from our lives.
2) The last thing a Christian should want to do is repeat the problem that God has resolved.
3) We can cause grief for God by sinning.

CONCLUSION:
1. We must not grieve the Holy Spirit
1) The Holy Spirit dwells in the Christian and knows everything that happens.
2) When we sin, we cause grief or sorrow for God.
3) We must avoid sin.
