Going into All the World

It was delightful to hear brother Eddie Cloer speak to us this past Sunday.  I have known brother Cloer for many years since my time in Berryville, Arkansas.  I have used his materials in teaching classes and developing programs for personal Bible studies within congregations.  I am also very excited for the work that he is undertaking to make it possible for people to study the entire Bible in their homes through the Internet.  This promises to be a great work that will have a lasting impact on the world.  I am delighted that the congregation is supporting this wonderful work.

As Christians, we have a mandate from Jesus to take the gospel into the whole world.  Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).  We can go in many different ways: walking, by car, in an airplane, by boat, through books, by tracts, in bulletins, and by the Internet.  The Internet is just the newest medium that we may use to teach the gospel to others.  There are many looking for the gospel and desiring to hear it.  The internet can use written text, audio, and video to communicate the gospel.

Our new web site, newbostoncoc.org, had 542 page-views in January 2015, and 557 page-views in February of 2015.  Our visitors have come from more than just our own country.  We have had visitors from Brazil, India, Portugal, Italy, Columbia, the Philippines, and Russia.  As we continue to add content to our web site, these numbers and list of visiting countries will grow.  There are people out there who want to hear the gospel, and we can help them hear it.  Please pray for brother Cloer’s work, and for our Internet work also.  God bless you, and I love you.
