We will discuss the ark of the covenant, its 1) Form, 2) Function, and 3) Fame. The hearer should understand what the ark was, what it was used for, and how it has significance today. I hope that everyone will appreciate God’s desire to be with His people in holiness.

In this lesson, we will look at two kinds of hearts, 1) The hard heart, and 2) The Soft heart. Each should understand the two hearts, their relationship to God and his word, and which kind everyone should desire to have. To encourage everyone to have the kind of heart that God wants us to have.
In this lesson we want to discuss the danger of ignorance. We will answer the questions: 1) What is Ignorance and its Causes, 2) What are the Consequences of Ignorance, and 3) How can we Change. The hearer should learn that spiritual ignorance is costly and seek to avoid it. This lesson will inform concerning dangers to our spirituality and life.
Jesus bids us 1) Come to Him, 2) Be Clean from Sin, 3) Confide in Him, 4) Cling to Him. In this lesson, we will think about the words to the song “Just As I Am.” We will think about how Jesus desires us to be saved and our response to His invitation. I hope to encourage each person to think seriously about Jesus’ invitation to salvation and respond.
Luke 24:1ff? Our meeting upon the first day of the week is not by accident nor by arbitrary selection. There are some scriptures which specifically mention the first day of the week and there are other scriptures in which the first day of the week is implied. Let's look at these scriptures and see what we can gain in understanding from them.

In the Old Testament, God makes provision for His people to rest. The Jews did not work on the Sabbath day; they were required by God to rest. Exodus 20:8-10 states, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy…. In it you shall do no work….”
The Bible talks about Jesus’ compassion (Matthew 15:32, 20:34, Mark 5:19, Mark 6:34, Luke 7:13). He really did care for others while He lived on the earth.
“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” Peter uses a metaphor that is not familiar to us. “Gird up your loins” refers to the act of pulling up one’s tunic, tying a belt around it, and preparing to walk.
Lack of patience can also cause us to use our tongues incorrectly saying things that we should not say. Sometimes a person may feel like he just must say something. He feels awkward when there is silence among others.
What will be the fate of the rest? “But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” (Ezekiel 11:21-22).
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
