The scriptures teach plainly that Christ went to paradise after His death. In Luke 23:43 we read these words: "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." Jesus clearly told the thief on the cross that he would be with Him in paradise. One thing we know from the scriptures to be true is that paradise is not hell, and neither is hell paradise.
What is the gospel? It is 1) the Good News, 2) the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus, 3) the Power of God to Salvation. Each hearer will be able to answer the question, “What is the gospel?” I want to communicate that the gospel is God’s plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Lord hears when we pray and provides 1) Relief, 2) Relationship, 3) Righteousness, and 4) Refuge. Each Christian should learn to trust in the Lord and turn to him to prayer in all circumstances of life. The aim of this lesson is to help each Christian recognize the power of prayer through the Psalms.
In this lesson, we will answer the question, What is the Church? We must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand what the church is in relationship to God’s great plan to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand God’s desire for unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.

The hearer should understand that no one is excluded from a relationship with God. The only barrier is whether we want one or not. The word for “Peter” in this verse is the Greek word petros which means a pebble. Jesus goes on to say that upon this rock, petra, he would build his church. The Greek word petra means a large rock such as the ridge of a mountain or the ledge of a cliff. In other words, Jesus is saying, “Peter, you are a tiny pebble, but I am going to build my church on a great big mountain ridge.” What is the giant rock that Jesus would build His church upon? It is nothing else but the confession of Peter that Jesus is the Son of God. Christ is the rock!

This lesson should impress upon each listener the attitudes that Jesus faced when He went to the cross.
In this lesson, we will focus on the contents of the Ark of the Covenant and their meaning: 1) Pot of Manna, 2) Aaron’s Rod that Budded, 3) Ten Commandments. The hearer will understand that God gives us reminders as to what is important regarding His love for us, His authority, and our obedience.
In this lesson, we will look at the identity of God as revealed in scripture. He is 1) The Eternal One, 2) The Creator, 3) The Redeemer. Each should understand who God is in relationship to the creation and our salvation and to impress upon each one the sovereignty and divinity of God.
Faithful fathers build families and churches by being 1) Faithful to the Lord, 2) Faithful to their Wives, 3) Faithful to their Children. Each hearer will know how faithful fathers build faithful families and churches.
When children have no father, they will lack some understanding regarding righteousness and justice. We need faithful fathers!
Faithful families create the ideal environment in which to rear children because they will have stability from 1) Parents, 2) the Church, and 3) Morality. God’s ways produce the best results for faithful families.
