For us to love our God-given responsibilities we must 1) Accept how God has made us as men and women, 2) Receive God’s plan for the family, 3) Embrace the responsibilities God has given to us. Each hearer should understand that the responsibilities God has given for the family are not subject to the desires of humanity. When we love our God-given responsibilities, we encourage our families to faithfulness.
To be a spiritual leader one must adopt 1) Jesus’ Model of Leadership, 2) Jesus’ Method of Leadership, and 3) Jesus’ Mission of Leadership. Each hearer should know what it means to be a spiritual leader in his/her family. Spiritual leadership means humbling ourselves before God to serve one another in our families.
In this lesson we want to discuss the danger of ignorance. We will answer the questions: 1) What is Ignorance and its Causes, 2) What are the Consequences of Ignorance, and 3) How can we Change. The hearer should learn that spiritual ignorance is costly and seek to avoid it. This lesson will inform concerning dangers to our spirituality and life.
In this lesson, we will study of the blood of Christ and that it speaks about 1) The Church, 2) Salvation, and 3) Responsibility. Each hearer should understand the significance of the blood of Christ. I hope to help people think more about the blood of Christ during the Lord’s Supper.
To be a child of God is to have the blessing of: 1) Forgiveness, 2) Family 3) A Father 4) Felicity. Each should be encouraged in knowing that they are children of God. I hope to use fatherhood as an illustration of what it means to be a child of God.
To take ownership of my family’s faithfulness I must 1) Comprehend the contrast between the spiritual and the carnal. 2) Consistently cultivate the spiritual and cast out the carnal. 3) Care that my children copy my behavior. 4) Consider that it is never too late to change. In this lesson, I hope that each person will understand the responsibility that God has given parents to take ownership of their family. It is the aim of this lesson and series to keep our families faithful to the Lord.
This lesson will discuss how God defines the relationship of people to their labor. Each hearer should understand that labor is good, but it does not define us.
Christian unity is based upon Christian teaching. We are united as Christians and without the teaching we are not Christians. This teaching is summarized in the list of seven “ones” in Ephesians 4:4-6. Each person should understand that for us to have unity as Christians we must adhere to the same standards of Christian teaching.
In this lesson, we will study why Jesus died on the cross. To understand that Jesus brings unity to mankind in the church, we must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand that Jesus died on the cross to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand that Jesus died on the cross to bring unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.
Christianity is a long-distance run. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” This a long-distance run, and for it we need proper nutrition. What is the spiritual food that we need? It is Jesus Himself.
Why did Jesus die on the cross? In this lesson, we will see that God ordained it. The listener should know that God ordained Jesus to die on the cross for him.
