What is a Christian?
A Christian is a person who 1) Believes Christ, 2) Obeys Christ, 3) Is Faithful to Christ. Each person should understand that it isn’t enough to claim to be a Christian, one must live that way.

In this lesson, we will answer the question, What is the Church? We must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand what the church is in relationship to God’s great plan to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand God’s desire for unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.
God is the Father of All because 1) He created All in His Image, 2) He gave His Son for the All the World, 3) He Treats All Without Partiality. The hearer should understand that no one is excluded from a relationship with God. The only barrier is whether we want one or not. The point of this sermon is to remind Christians that God wants everyone in His body, the church.
In this lesson, we will learn what it means to fear God: 1) Emotionally, 2) Behaviorally, and 3) Spiritually. Each person will understand that God has commanded us to fear Him so as to order our lives correctly, and failure to fear God leads to destruction.
We find meaning in the Lord’s Supper when we 1) Remember Jesus, 2) Connect with Jesus, 3) Thank Jesus. Each listener will understand that there is objective significance in observing the Lord’s Supper.
In this lesson, we will study why Jesus died on the cross. To understand that Jesus brings unity to mankind in the church, we must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand that Jesus died on the cross to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand that Jesus died on the cross to bring unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.

Only the use of verbal communication when combined with spiritual words and an attitude of love can accomplish this task. Knowledge alone does not accomplish this task. Knowledge separated from love does not edify, it merely puffs up (1 Corinthians 8:1). However, biblical edification is the loving impartation of spiritual instruction designed to build up the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the student to the motivation of accomplishing the work of the kingdom.
Why is communion important? It is a 1) Declaration of Faith, 2) Demonstration of Fellowship, 3) Deliberation of Forgiveness. The listener should understand the importance of communion in relationship to Christ, others, and himself.
