kingTITLE: Jesus: King of My Life

SUBJECT: Jesus

PROPOSITION: Jesus is King of my life because 1) He is the God of my life. 2) He is the Savior of my life. 3) He is the All of my life!

OBJECTIVE: Each person should be able to state why Jesus is their King.

AIM: To teach the Kingship of Jesus and emphasize his sovereignty over our lives.

INTRODUCTION:

1. Read: 1 Timothy 6:13-16

2. About the Text:

1) We no longer live in a society where kings and queens rule.

2) The closest thing we have to a king is the president, but it’s not the same.

3) We enjoy unprecedented freedom in our country as to not bow to an earthly monarch.

4) But the Bible declares that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

5) How do we understand this concept?

6) Why should we own Jesus as King of our life today and what does that mean?

3. Ref. to S, T, P, O, and A.
