We can’t save ourselves because 1) just one sin separates us from God, 2) sin distorts our efforts to do good, 3) the good works we do are not sufficient to save us. The listener should understand that only by trusting in Christ Jesus can we be saved.

The Bible doesn’t give us a complete picture of moment by moment transactions after we die. However, the Bible does give us some snapshots of what happens after death. There are several passages in the Bible that give us some fleeting glances as to what transpires. Let’s look at a few of them.
In this lesson, we will look at the Bible’s teaching that sinful humans put Jesus on the cross. The hearer of this lesson should understand that Jesus went to the cross for all sinful humans and that therefore all sinful humans put him there.

In this lesson, we will look at some basic questions regarding observed holidays so that each Christian would know the biblical principles governing holidays. The aim of this lesson is to teach the biblical principles concerning holidays and discuss how we respect holidays today without offending God.
In this lesson we will look at the first internal problem for the church and how it was handled. We will then draw some practical lessons from the text. Each hearer should learn that God is always watching what we do and knows our motives, thoughts, and actions. We cannot get away with sinning against God.
In this lesson we want to look at the question, “What is Christian Baptism?” We will note that Christian baptism is: 1) A burial in water. 2) An action of faith. 3) God’s work of righteousness. Everyone needs to be able to discuss what baptism is in relationship to the plan of salvation. Not many in the religious world today understand it. But it is part of the great commission and we must preach and teach it.
One of the criticisms that Jesus’ enemies employed was that He ate with publicans and sinners...This criticism was leveled at Jesus because he associated with these people to teach them the gospel.

He does this because there is, 1) A Need--the blind need to see, 2) A Name--only He has this authority, 3) A Notion--the blind who see will tell others, 4) A Nation--the blind who see will believe and worship together, and 5) A Night--an eternal blindness is coming for those who do not see. I want to impress upon each hearer that God wants all men to be saved and to come to the truth and to help the congregation become more evangelistic.
