In this lesson, we will discuss six ways to have a great marriage: 1) Put God First, 2) Love One Another, 3) Communicate, 4) Be Intimate, 5) Have Children, 6) Be Faithful. Each hearer should learn what the Bible teaches about having a great marriage and be motivated to live according to God’s word.
To be honest with our families we must understand 1) Why we don’t tell the truth, 2) Why we should tell the truth. I hope that each of our families are open and honest with each other permitting Christ to govern our family life.
To be honest with our families we must understand why we don’t tell the truth: 1) Fear of Discovery, 2) Fear of Punishment, 3) Fear of Retaliation, 4) Fear of Rejection, 5) Fear of Change. We want all of our families to be open and honest with each other permitting Christ to govern our family life.
Loving our families as Jesus loves us means: 1) Loving Our Families Without Expectations, 2) Loving Our Families Selflessly with Faithfulness, 3) Loving Graciously without Reservation. We must love our families like Jesus loves us to have Jesus living in our homes. If we learn this, then our homes will be great.
We will look at several biblical principles that will help us in personally cooperating in our families. The objective of this lesson is that each would understand and make application of how to better cooperate with our families, and to help us all learn how to avoid personal problems with one another in our families.
Faithful fathers build families and churches by being 1) Faithful to the Lord, 2) Faithful to their Wives, 3) Faithful to their Children. Each hearer will know how faithful fathers build faithful families and churches.
Faithful families create the ideal environment in which to rear children because they will have stability from 1) Parents, 2) the Church, and 3) Morality. God’s ways produce the best results for faithful families.
In this lesson, we will discuss 1) what it means to have goals and objectives, 2) failures of the past to pursue spirituality, 3) the one and only goal of the spiritual family, to effect spiritual transformation. Each hearer should understand that whatever is done in life should be done to pursue spiritual transformation. That each listener would understand the need for spiritual transformation.
