SUBJECT: Government

PROPOSITION: As Christians, we can celebrate our independence by 1) Praying, 2) Obeying, and 3) Honoring our government.

OBJECTIVE: Each Christian should understand that he can be a good citizen under any government by doing the above activities.

INTRODUCTION:

1. Read: Romans 13:1-7

2. About the Text:

1) There have been many governments in the past 2000 years.

2) Christians have not always been free, but we are blessed to have freedom.

3) Our citizenship is in heaven (Phil.3:20).
