Get Ready for Our Gospel Meeting!
In a couple of weeks, brother Chris Hooten is going to be here to preach on the topic of forgiveness! This will be a fantastic study, and it is a topic that many want to know more about. We all need and want forgiveness! So why is it so hard sometimes to get it and give it? I suspect that Chris will have some wonderful insights into that question. I know that he will preach God’s word on the topic and help us to understand more about it. He will do his part in this effort! Will you do your part in this effort? How can you do that?
First, make your plans to be at EVERY SINGLE SERVICE! Don’t skip out because it is not Sunday. Come and support our meeting effort every day! You will be enriched by this spiritually! Second, pick up those fliers and pass them out to people you know whether it is your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or strangers you meet at the store. The more word we can get out about this meeting, the better! Third, pray for the meeting to be successful! We want God’s aid in our work, and we receive His aid when we pray (Luke 18:1-8). Make this meeting a topic at your prayers of thanksgiving for your meals.
The goal of this and all our efforts is to participate in God’s eternal purpose of building up His church (Ephesians 3:11)! God wants as many people to go to heaven as can possibly go, but He has left us responsible for taking the gospel to others (Matthew 28:18-20). Let’s participate in God’s purposes and bring others into His kingdom!
