A Growing Church!

We have a lot of activities on the radar right now, and that is good.  A congregation that is alive has a lot to discuss and work on together–we are a growing church!  Our technology upgrade project is being discussed right now.  The elders will continue to receive comments until April 19th.  After that, they will meet to discuss the feedback, and then make a decision on how to go forward with the work.  So, please continue to give them your comments, feedback, suggestions, or other thoughts.  They want to know what you think!

Last Sunday evening, we had brother Richard Barton come and speak to us about Camp Ida.  This encampment is located south of New Boston to the east of Maud, Texas.  After he spoke, I talked about the ALPHA Leadership Camp Session, scheduled for June 28th through July 3rd, and its focus on training leaders in the Lord’s church.  Applications are due on May 31st, 2015, and that the deposit is $30.00 per camper.  Also, the elders decided that the church would pay for the remaining fee of $100.00 for the camp.  This is a good deal, so I hope that you will take advantage of this–we are a growing church!  We have some paper applications here at the building, or go online to campida.com.

The visitors to our web site have been growing over the past three months.  In the month of March, we had 707 visits to our web site.  This is an increase of 150 visitors compared to February’s total of 557.  On our web site you can read the bulletin, listen to sermons, study sermon outlines, and be reminded upcoming events.  Our web site stays up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year; so it is working even when we are not – we are a growing church!  Isn’t God good?  God bless you, and I love you.
