Each hearer will be able to discuss these mothers’ spiritual qualities. It was not worldly values that made these mothers great, but spiritual.

In this lesson, we will discuss the parable of the tares. Each hearer will be able to explain the meaning of the parable and what questions it answers.

Lessons from the Birth of Christ
In this lesson, we will set forth three lessons from Matthew’s account of the birth of Christ: 1) God keeps his promises, 2) Obedience leads to salvation, 3) Jesus is the Messiah. Each hearer should understand these lessons from Christ’s birth. God’s will cannot be thwarted when men do their part in the process of salvation.

The Failure of the Dragon
In this lesson we will study through Revelation 12 and note how the dragon fails: 1) To Destroy the Messiah, 2) To Take Over Heaven, 3) To Conquer God’s People. Each hearer should be encouraged that Satan cannot conquer us as long as we remain in Christ.

Preparing for the King – A Study of Revelation 10-11
In Revelation 10-11 we see preparations made for the coming of the King and His kingdom. These preparations include 1) The Completion of the Mystery of God, 2) The Committing of God’s Message to the Prophets/Apostles, 3) The Coming of the Two Witnesses, 4) The Coronation of the Messiah. The hearer should be able to explain that the events of Revelation 10-11 are preparatory for the coronation of the Messiah. I hope that the listener will have a better understanding of Revelation 10-11.

They Did Not Repent – Revelation 8-9
God has made extraordinary efforts to encourage humanity to repent. In this lesson, we will look at how Revelation 8-9 teach this truth through the limited judgments that God has used on the earth. The hearer should understand that the world is designed in such a way as to bring suffering humanity to repentance for their sins, and that when we don’t repent, we create great suffering in our lives. I want to teach Revelation 8-9 and show the relationship of these verses to the Old Testament prophets and their call for people to repent.

Were All Angels Male?
The Bible does not reveal that angels are either male or female in an anatomical sense. Jesus suggests that angels are without such gender in Matthew 22:30 when he says: “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.” If angels do not marry one another, then that seems to imply that they are without gender.

Jacob and the Angel: Wrestling God
We wrestle with God too. What does it mean to wrestle with God, and how do we win?: 1) We wrestle with God when we seek to impose our will on others and God. 2) We wrestle with God and He with us through life’s troubles. 3) We can win our wrestling match with God by humbling ourselves and trusting in Him. Wresting with God is a good thing if we learn to humble ourselves and trust in God.

Jesus is God: A Study of Hebrews Chapter One
In Hebrews 1 we learn that Jesus is God due to His 1) Authority as God, 2) Identity as God, 3) Relationship to the Creation as God, 4) Superiority over the angels as God. We want to understand that because Jesus is God, he can be the perfect high priestly mediator between God and man. The aim of this lesson is to understand who Jesus really is in relationship to all things.

At the end of time (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) 1) Jesus Returns, 2) The Dead Are Raised, 3) Judgment Comes, 4) All Enter Eternity. Each person should know these events.

"Watchman, what of the night?" (Isaiah 21:11, 12): 1) The Watchman, 2) The Night, 3) The Message. Each person should teach the whole truth in evangelism.

Angels: Messengers of God
Angels are messengers of God (Hebrews 1:14), but that role diminished and ended after the great commission. Each person should know scripture is sufficient for all works.

Who are the Sons of God and Daughters of Men?
In Job 1:6, the sons of God are heavenly beings. In Genesis 6:1-4, they were men of the line of Seth. Context determines the meaning of a phrase.

Where is Satan in the Bible? How does he become the devil or Satan?
Satan, the devil, and the serpent are the same being (Revelation 12:9). He first appears in Genesis 3. Isaiah 14's "Lucifer" refers to the king of Babylon, not Satan.

Helping Angels
Angels are ministering spirits (Hebrews 1:14) who helped 1) Lot, 2) Elijah, 3) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, 4) Daniel. Each person should see their role for God.

The Divine Angel
The "Angel of the LORD" is God Himself (Isaiah 63:9), seen 1) With the Patriarchs, 2) In the Exodus, 3) Among the Judges. Each person should see God working to save man.
