Spring Gospel Meeting – Jesus: Our Hope – With Phil Sanders
I am excited to announce that in just a little over a month, Phil Sanders will be with us to hold our spring gospel meeting March 3-6. He will be speaking on the topic, Jesus: Our Hope. As you may already know, Phil Sanders is the host for the television program In Search of the Lord’s Way. He is a passionate preacher and teacher of God’s word and an engaging speaker. You will not want to miss any of his lessons. Please be making your plans to attend this meeting and to bring as many with you as you can.
Brother Sanders’ topics for this meeting are: The Essence of Hope, Jesus and the Cross, Jesus and His Words, Jesus and the Church, Jesus and Salvation, and Jesus and His Promises. We have some wonderful brochures to advertise this gospel meeting. Please take as many as you can to hand out to your friends and family. Put some on your refrigerator. Put some in the break room at work. Put some in our city’s public areas. There are things that we can personally do to promote this event.
This is an opportunity for us to practice the great commission of Jesus. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Let us take advantage of this opportunity with alacrity! That means doing the work with a cheerful attitude. Will there be any stars in your crown? Are you sowing the seed of the kingdom? Are you bringing in the sheaves? May God help us to recognize opportunities to teach and evangelize the lost.
