One More Week Until Our Gospel Meeting with Chris Hooten!
We want you and all your friends and family to come to our gospel meeting beginning next week with Chris Hooten! This coming Saturday, we will be having our stew supper, and that will be an opportunity for you to get to meet Chris and know him a bit better. Then, Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, he will teach our Bible class hour on the topic: The Greatness of Need of Man. During our worship hour, he will speak on the subject: The Beauty of Forgiveness. After this, we will have a congregational potluck luncheon to which everyone is invited to stay. Sunday evening, he will preach about: The Price of Forgiveness. Monday night at 7:00 PM, he teaches on: What Must I Do To Be Saved. Tuesday evening, he will speak on the topic: Forgiveness for the Child of God, and finally, Wednesday evening, he will tell us about the topic: God Forgives Me So I Can Forgive Myself and Others. This will be a wonderful spiritual feast! I am looking forward to it, and I hope you are looking forward to it as well. Let’s each one of us resolve today to be present for each lesson so that we can learn about forgiveness. It is such an important topic in the Bible. Our eternal salvation rests on it! Jesus said, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14-15). Please tell your friends and family about this opportunity to study God’s word on this most needed topic!
