Authentic Christianity Means Being a Child of God
We can be children of God today because 1) Christ is the Beneficiary of God’s Promise to Abraham, 2) The Purpose of the Law was to bring us to Christ, and 3) We Put on Christ in Baptism. Each hearer should know that to be a child of God, we must be in Christ; to do that, we must identify with Christ in baptism.
