Feel Right About Doing Right
Doing right may not feel right at first, but restrained behavior can lead to virtuous behavior (2 Peter 1:3-11). Put away pride and you will feel right about doing right.

He Had Nothing on Him
Satan had nothing on Jesus because He was without sin (John 14:30). If you are in Christ, Satan has nothing on you either, because he had nothing on Him.

Obedience
Jesus learned obedience and became the author of salvation to all who obey Him (Hebrews 5:8-9). Pride keeps us from obeying; remove it and obedience becomes joyful.

Why Did God Give Us Jesus?
God gave us Jesus so we can identify with Him and become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Put on Christ in baptism and become what God intended you to be.

On The Day of Judgment
All will stand before God on the Day of Judgment (2 Corinthians 5:10). Jesus is the judge and His word is the standard, so learn Christ's words (John 12:48).

As our children go back to school, we should also be buying the truth (Proverbs 23:23) and bringing a good attitude without complaining (Philippians 2:14).

Bible study is important because God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). We must hear, study, and learn God's word to please Him.
