    What is the gospel? It is 1) the Good News, 2) the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus, 3) the Power of God to Salvation. Each hearer will be able to answer the question, “What is the gospel?” I want to communicate that the gospel is God’s plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

    We need to hear the gospel, but our hearing must be 1) Without Prejudice, 2) With a View toward Obedience, 3) For Self-Correction, 4) To Evangelize Others. Each hearer should be able to understand what the Bible says about hearing the gospel correctly. Each person should be hearing as the Bible teaches us to hear.

  • Who is Jesus? (John 3:16)

    In this lesson, we will focus on John 3:16 as we seek to answer the question, “Who is Jesus?” Jesus is 1) the Son of God, 2) the Savior, and 3) the Personification of Grace and Truth. This lesson seeks to provide a basic answer to the question who is Jesus for those who are seeking rudimentary knowledge.

Each hearer should understand the significance Psalm 22 has in relationship to the cross of Jesus. This lesson should impress upon each listener the attitudes that Jesus faced when He went to the cross.

This passage indicates that we should care for others by providing for their 1) Nourishment, 2) Shelter, 3) Clothing, 4) Comfort, and 5) Companionship. We must understand what it means to care about other people. Jesus said that this was key to eternal life.

Let’s remember to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, and then everything that we need will be provided to us by Him (Matthew 6:33).
