Crossing the Jordan river with the Ark of the Covenant teaches 1) Man’s Faith, 2) God’s Presence, 3) Man’s Patience, 4) God’s Faithfulness. To understand God’s instrument for bringing His people into the promised land and how it applies to us today. We must put our faith and trust in God if we hope to get to the promised land of heaven.
In this lesson we will study the conversion of the Ethiopian Nobleman: 1) God Wants People, 2) God Uses Preachers, 3) God’s Proposal is Jesus, 4) God’s Plan Includes Baptism, 5) God’s Plan Produces Joy. In this lesson, we will do an expository study of Acts 8:26-40 and make application.

Do we hold back from teaching the gospel to those who don’t look, smell, act, or live like us because they are “dirty”? God didn’t accept Peter’s reticence, and He won’t accept ours either because He wants everyone to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).
