    Obey the Lord

    In this lesson, we will discuss the command to obey the Lord. We will look at 1) What the command means, 2) Who is responsible to follow it, and 3) Why we must obey it. Each hearer should be impressed with the absolute necessity of obeying the Lord. I hope to communicate with each person what obedience means.

  • What is the Church?

    In this lesson, we will answer the question, What is the Church? We must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand what the church is in relationship to God’s great plan to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand God’s desire for unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.

    God is the Father of All because 1) He created All in His Image, 2) He gave His Son for the All the World, 3) He Treats All Without Partiality. The hearer should understand that no one is excluded from a relationship with God. The only barrier is whether we want one or not. The point of this sermon is to remind Christians that God wants everyone in His body, the church.

    In this lesson about Bible Commandments, we will look at the commandment, “Worship God!” To worship God we must 1) Understand Worship, 2) Acknowledge God as the Object of Worship 3) Put Away Idols that Compete with Worshipping God. Each hearer should know what the command “Worship God” means.

    God’s Complete Judgment of Wrath

    Rev.15-16 show God’s complete judgment on the creation. We note that God’s Judgment of Wrath Is: 1) Not for the Victorious, 2) Holy, 3) Executed Perfectly, 4) Complete and Affects the Whole Creation, 5) Blasphemed by the Impenitent, 6) Unexpected, 7) Without Refuge. Each will understand how Rev.15-16 present the characteristics of God’s judgment. I want to help all see how Revelation 15-16 is relevant today.

  • Loving our God-Given Family Responsibilities

    For us to love our God-given responsibilities we must 1) Accept how God has made us as men and women, 2) Receive God’s plan for the family, 3) Embrace the responsibilities God has given to us. Each hearer should understand that the responsibilities God has given for the family are not subject to the desires of humanity. When we love our God-given responsibilities, we encourage our families to faithfulness.

    Goals and Objectives of the Spiritual Family

    In this lesson, we will discuss 1) what it means to have goals and objectives, 2) failures of the past to pursue spirituality, 3) the one and only goal of the spiritual family, to effect spiritual transformation. Each hearer should understand that whatever is done in life should be done to pursue spiritual transformation. That each listener would understand the need for spiritual transformation.

    What Does it Mean to be a Friend?

    In this lesson, we will look at some Bible principles on friendship: 1) We were made for friendship, 2) Friendship is founded on the good, 3) Friends are Independent, 4) Friendship is Generous. To encourage us to be better friends by understanding the Bible’s teaching.

    They Did Not Repent – Revelation 8-9

    God has made extraordinary efforts to encourage humanity to repent. In this lesson, we will look at how Revelation 8-9 teach this truth through the limited judgments that God has used on the earth. The hearer should understand that the world is designed in such a way as to bring suffering humanity to repentance for their sins, and that when we don’t repent, we create great suffering in our lives. I want to teach Revelation 8-9 and show the relationship of these verses to the Old Testament prophets and their call for people to repent.

    In this lesson, we will study why Jesus died on the cross. To understand that Jesus brings unity to mankind in the church, we must understand God’s original design in the creation. When we understand this, we will understand that Jesus died on the cross to restore unity between God and man, and between man and man. Each member should understand that Jesus died on the cross to bring unity in the church as the restoration of His purposes in creation.

    Justice for the Earth

    Justice for the Earth entails: 1) Common Justice, 2) Cry for Justice, 3) Coming Justice. Each listener should understand that justice in the earth now is incomplete, but not final. One day God’s justice will be finished through Christ Jesus.

  • God Provides for His Saints

    God provides for the saints by 1) Sealing the Saints of the Past, 2) Saving the Saints of the Present, 3) Sheltering the Saints from the Future. The hearer should marvel at the wonderful blessings that God has given to his saints in the past, present, and future.
